Green Reading System

As a mid-handicap golfer working to improve my short game, I’ve been searching for a putting aid that would help me strike the ball more cleanly and consistently. The WhyGolf Putting Thing has proven to be a valuable addition to my practice sessions. It’s easy to use, gives immediate feedback, and has helped me feel more confident on the greens. I still have a long way to go, but this tool has definitely helped me take the next step in improving my short game.

I absolutely love the Putting Thing. The adjustability of the putter gate and ball gate are like no other. Unlike other putter gates that require tees, the Putting Thing is awesome for indoor and outdoor use and allows me to putt on the putting green and indoor putting mat to ensure I am starting the ball on-line as well as striking the ball in the center of the putter face. Not only that, but the putter and ball gate are unequivocally precise in width, while other gates that require tees often are inconsistent in gate width due to different tee angles into the ground. WhyGolf really hit a home run with the Putting Thing and it is exciting for me to implement it into my everyday putting practice routine.

The putting thing has helped me tremendously. It's intuitive to use and helps me start my ball online and hit the center of the clubface as well. It's incredibly easy to use and I love using it before golf tournaments. It’s a great way to gain confidence and it makes putting easier.

First off excellent customer service, I mean beyond excellent actually. I had 2 questions and Brad replied to me within minutes both times and answers my questions fully and was super nice and professional and the answers were also just what I wanted to hear. I recommend this company for sure. The putting thing is super nice and after talking to brad I understand it's design and quality better. Great experience overall.

This is an awesome product. Putting plate to help with your path. The green cards for break analysis. And the Slope board the help clearing the AIM system. If you want to improve all aspects of your putting you really need this entire system.

The product arrived on schedule and is of solid construction. If I were to nitpick I would make the gates metal also but the plastic are sturdy and have an audible click to know they are in place. I have practiced with it on four separate hour long sessions and I can see improvement. It takes getting used to but I believe the logic behind it is solid. I don't leave the practice session without making 10 straight from around 10 feet and once you get the area tighten down it is difficult. However, it is doable and I think I suck less..

This device combines the best of putting practice tools. It allows you to work on your swing path, face control, and a consistent set up. I am able to fine tune adjustments and know that they are correct. I especially love the alignment track so that I know you I am perfectly aligned on the target before you start practicing.
